Directed by Tom Nazziola, The BQE Project is an ensemble that plays live, original music to silent film and early talkies. The selections on "Film Music / Volume I" include excerpts from various film scores created by Tom Nazziola and performed live by the ensemble. Scores on this album have been composed for the following films: Buster Keaton’s “Sherlock Jr.,” Fleischer Studio’s cartoon “Fadeaway,” James Whales 1931 classic “Frankenstein,” and the German expressionist film “The Golem” by Paul Wegener. The ensemble continues to perform live to film at venues across the country.
